Running Center City Hanzeloop Zutphen

The Running Center City Hanzeloop starts on the Groenmarkt, right in the historic center of Zutphen. It is a Sunday running event with 5 km and 10 km races, plus a 1 km youth run for children. Runners leave the old center and then spend much of the route on paved bike paths, with stretches along the IJssel river and through green city parks. The program includes individual races, company races, a schoolchildren’s 5 km, and the youth run, so the field is broader than just club runners. Atletiekvereniging Hanzesport organizes the event, and the organization is affiliated with Atletiekunie.
