15e Stratenloop Waspik 2026

Stratenloop Waspik is a small Dutch road-running event in Waspik, held on the second Sunday of December. It offers four distances from 1.25 km to 10 km, allowing children to run a short youth race while adults and older juniors can choose 2.5 km, 5 km, or 10 km. The start and finish are located near community center 't Schooltje on Carmelietenstraat, giving the event a local, village-race atmosphere instead of a big-city setup. The race is organized by TLV De La and affiliated with the Atletiekunie. It attracts young runners, club athletes, beginners, and regular local participants, with the field growing to nearly 500 starters. Practical details are straightforward: parking is arranged at SV Capelle in nearby Sprang-Capelle, and runners have access to a shared changing room with toilets but no showers. The 10 km has also featured competitive racing, including a men's course record of 30:33.
