Uiterwaarden Run Nederasselt 2026

The Uiterwaarden Run Nederasselt begins and ends at the village community center on Kerklaantje in Nederasselt. This race in Gelderland is set within the floodplains of the Maas River. It takes place on the final Sunday of September and includes three distances: a 1.5 km race for youth, and 5 km and 10 km races for men and women. The racecourse follows the local terrain: parts run along the Maasdijk, through paths in the floodplain nature reserve, and past the lock. Stichting Nederasselt Gezond organizes the event, with assistance from the municipality of Heumen. The event began with approximately 100 participants and later achieved a participation record exceeding 200. Practical race-day amenities are provided, such as changing rooms, showers, first aid, an AED, massage services, parking, and on-site registration.
