Uithoorns Mooiste de Loop starts and finishes at Sportpark De Randhoorn in Uithoorn. Every distance is run as a single lap on paved roads. This late-January road race, organized by Atletiek Klub Uithoorn, offers youth runs and adult distances: 5 km, 10 km, and a longest option of approximately 10 English miles (16.1 km). Changing rooms and showers are available at the sport park, making the event function like a local club race.
The longer routes traverse Uithoorn and De Kwakel. The 10 English Miles section along the Amstel is central to the race’s identity. Having passed forty editions, it has become a fixture in the local running calendar. A Specials G-Run is included, using the same 1 km course as the family 1 km run; many Specials G-Run participants train with Atletiek Klub Uithoorn. This results in a diverse field, with youth runners, club athletes, local road runners, families, and Specials G-Run participants all using the same start-and-finish area.
