The Veluwse Herfsttocht is a road cycling tour starting in Driebergen-Rijsenburg, typically held at the beginning of autumn. It serves as the Driebergse Tourclub’s last marked tour of the year. Participants can select routes ranging from a 25 km family ride to longer options around 140 km, accommodating both casual cyclists and those seeking a final substantial ride before the season concludes.
The routes extend towards the Veluwe, with longer distances including ascents on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Its primary draw is autumn cycling through forests and fields as the foliage begins to change. The 25 km family route might be unmarked, while the main distances are signposted. The event is organized in conjunction with the World Wildlife Fund.
