Westenholterun Zwolle

The Westenholterun Zwolle is a Friday-evening charity run held in Westenholte, a Zwolle neighborhood in Overijssel, Netherlands. Participants can select between 6 or 10 kilometers, with both routes commencing and concluding at the De Weidesteen sports park. This event maintains a deliberately low-key, local character, functioning as a neighborhood sports night rather than a large-scale city race. It is organized by Warmlopers with the primary goal of raising funds for charitable causes. Approximately 500 runners finished the course during a recent running. This participation level ensures a lively atmosphere while preserving the event's community focus. The Westenholterun also operates under the Bas Autowas name, and previous editions have provided support to Stichting 112 Nepal. The organizers emphasize the concept of a hardloopfeest, a running party, indicating that the appeal extends beyond the distances to the evening's ambiance in Westenholte.
