The Zeemijlenloop Delfzijl is a running event in the Dutch port town of Delfzijl, held annually in October and organized by Atletiekvereniging Fivelstreek. Its hook is simple and unusual: the distances are measured in nautical miles instead of standard kilometers, making it the first running event built around that measure. One nautical mile is about 1,852 meters, so the main 4-nautical-mile race comes out to 7.408 km. The route starts at the athletics track and finishes at Molen Adam in the center of Delfzijl.
