ZorgSaam Carbidtocht

The ZorgSaam Carbidtocht takes place in late December, organized by ZorgSaam Loperscompany at Sportpark De Voordam in Hellendoorn, Overijssel. Mountain bikers can select a 30 or 50 km route, and the event also offers a trail run and a 10 km walk. It is designed for participants seeking a challenging winter activity after Christmas, distinct from road races or city events. The mountain bike course crosses the Sallandse Heuvelrug, featuring extensive singletrack, numerous hills, and predominantly unpaved terrain. A notable attraction is the inclusion of trails usually restricted to mountain bikers. The landscape near Hellendoorn provides rolling terrain and thick woodlands, aligning with the post-Christmas tradition of assisting participants in shedding holiday weight. FTC CC ’75, in collaboration with Fysiotherapie ZorgSaam and football club Hellendoorn, presents the event. The ATB ride has earned the NTFU’s highest rating.
