Ålgård-Sirdal 100K

The Ålgård-Sirdal 100K is a 100-kilometer race in Norway, running from Ålgård to Sirdal. It combines road running with mountain terrain. The route requires patience as much as speed, as the most challenging sections occur later rather than at the beginning. The last aid station is located at Lortabu, after 86 kilometers. From there, the course follows the road toward Gravassryggen before ascending the steep trail to Storeknut. The trail's name originates from shepherds who moved sheep from the coast to mountain pastures in Sirdal, lending the late climb historical significance beyond just the race. Approximately one kilometer from the finish, runners face a steep gravel path. The finish line is at Slottet, situated above Sirdal with a broad view of the valley.
