Den Breiale Milen

Den Breiale Milen is a late-summer running event at Frognerkilen in Oslo, with main listed distances of 7.5 km and 14.5 km. The longer race is split into pace waves, including sub-60 and sub-75 groups before the main 14.5 km start, while the schedule also lists a DAB Kort short race at 9 km. This is a low-key, self-timed race: runners record their own time on a watch or Strava and report it at the secretariat after finishing. The entry list includes a 7.5 km Halv Breiale / Dudettes class, and the day continues after the run with AfterRun, awards for podium finishers in every distance and class, prizes including a “nesepust” category, and a concert by the world’s most jovial rappers.
