Grimstadvatnet Rundt
Grimstadvatnet Rundt is a 7.8 km road race held at Hareid klubbhus in Møre og Romsdal, Norway. It is part of Hareid IL's winter series, comprising four races on the first Saturday of November, December, January, and February. The race is short, largely on asphalt, and fairly flat, making it suitable for regular runners and those who wish to participate without concern for their performance. The route begins and ends at Hareid klubbhus, forming a straightforward road loop around Grimstadvatnet. The series dates back to 1981, and by the late 2000s, it had surpassed 100 editions, demonstrating the endurance of this local tradition. The organizers suggest that most reasons are insufficient for not participating in Grimstadvatnet Rundt, aligning with its nature as a winter event open to all, regardless of fitness.
