Haugesund-Sauda
Haugesund-Sauda is a late-May cycling race from Haugesund to Sauda in Rogaland, Norway. Sauda Sykkelklubb organizes it and calls the day a sykkelfesten, a cycling party, with the club aiming its activities at riders of all ages. The race points riders toward Sauda, Rogaland's northernmost municipality, where most people live at the end of the fjord under steep mountains. Sauda is a small industrial town built around metal processing, with older roots in timber trade and zinc mining at Allmannajuvet, where ore was once carried down to the fjord and shipped out.
