Skjernøyløpet is a 6 km race around Skjernøy in Mandal, Agder, and it is Norway's southernmost race. It is run in July, with an evening start and race-number pickup before the start, and registration goes through EQ-Timing.
The course circles the island and is described by the organizers as both tough and fun, so it is more than a flat jog around town. The field is open to children and adults, and recent results show a front end fast enough to get under 20 minutes while still leaving room for club runners, local runners, and families testing the route.
