Soon Tyrathlon 2026

Soon Tryathlon takes place at Son Torg and Glenneparken in Son. The main briefing is at the town square, and the children's start is at the Sailing Association. It is a local triathlon day featuring sprint waves, a relay/light-blue wave, a super sprint, and children's races for ages 9-12. Adult races begin in the morning, with the mini-tri and children's tri starting after midday. The event involves a compact swim-bike-run format. Racers use the provided swim cap and rack bikes in numbered, narrow transition spaces. They wear the bib on their back during the bike leg and turn it to the front for the run. Sprint athletes are grouped by expected finish time, relay teams have a dedicated wave, and children's races have a separate check-in and briefing. Roads into Son center close when racing starts. Wetsuits are mandatory if the water temperature is below 16°C. The organizer directs participants to local shops rather than operating kiosk sales at the arena.
