Trysilrypa is Norway's largest mountain march and trail race for women, held in September on Trysilfjellet in Norway. It is structured as a full weekend for women in the mountains, with participants choosing to run, walk, or speedwalk 6, 10, or 13 km. The event is open to all paces: the trails are well marked and set up for people who want to move at their own pace, from relaxed walkers to trail runners.
All three routes start and finish at SkiStar Lodge Trysil in Fageråsen, which also serves as the weekend base with the secretariat, food, shopping, and after-run activities gathered in one place. The mountain setting is autumn-colored, and the event attracts several thousand women for a mix of racing, hiking, social time, and hotel-based activities. The weekend program includes an After Run concert, a food festival at SkiStar Lodge, a special three-course Rypemeny at Barken, spa treatments at Kulpen SPA, and yoga with a mountain view.
