Valdresrittet

Valdresrittet is a mountain bike race held at Vaset Stadion in Valdres. The primary event begins and concludes at the stadium. The complete course spans 53 km with 932 meters of elevation gain, crossing one of Norway's most active mountain pasture regions. Participants will ride through open highland plains, challenging mountain sections, alongside lakes and streams, and on singletrack trails and gravel roads. The main route combines difficult ascents with fast descents, appealing to riders seeking a challenge beyond a basic gravel ride. Shorter options include a 22 km course designed for a wide range of participants and an 11 km course that is largely hilly and approximately half off-road. For younger participants, Mini-Valdresrittet offers one loop within the stadium for the youngest riders and a 3.7 km terrain loop for ages 8 to 12.
