Vassfjellet Rundt 2026

Vassfjellet Rundt begins and ends at Tanem skole near Vassfjellet in Trøndelag, taking place around the end of August. This mountain-and-trail race day offers several participation options: compete for time, hike the hills, or bring children to the 3 km Troll løype, suitable for strollers. The primary routes traverse gravel roads, forest roads, paths, and open terrain, deviating from a single paved course. Senior men and women compete on the approximately 18 km long route. Juniors, recruits, and veterans aged 60 and above contest a shorter route of about 13 km. A flexible tour-class option is also available, accommodating serious runners, hikers, families, and those primarily visiting Vassfjelltrollet on the Troll trail. With over fifty editions completed, Vassfjellet Rundt stands as a local race marked by established routines and a functional, outdoor-focused format.
