Pukeiti 10 km Climb — Coastal Five 2026

The Pukeiti 10 km Climb begins at Pukeiti Gardens on Carrington Road in Taranaki and concludes at the New Plymouth Coastal Walkway. This 10 km point-to-point road run or walk commences at 7:00 am, with a 9:30 am cut-off. The route utilizes sealed roads and is suitable for those who prefer running or walking a long downhill section over a flat city course. The course proceeds along Carrington Road from the bush and rural surroundings of Pukeiti towards the New Plymouth coast. A bus transports participants to the start, making parking at the finish the recommended option. This race is one of five events in the multi-day Coastal Five series held in Taranaki. Runners have the option to enter this distance individually or as part of the complete series challenge.
