33. Bieg Solidarności 2026

Bieg Solidarności is a short road race in Wrocław, held in early September near Hotel Wodnik. Adults compete over 5.2 km, with children and teenagers running shorter distances of 1 km or 500 m based on age. The MOZ NSZZ Solidarność group at MPK Wrocław organizes this event, which is the region’s largest trade-union sports competition, open to both union members and non-members, as well as casual runners. The primary course begins and ends at Hotel Wodnik, proceeding along Międzyrzecka Street before turning back at Nizinna Street and returning to the hotel. Typically, the youngest participants race first, followed by the adult competition, which attracts several hundred male and female runners. All finishers are awarded commemorative medals, and winners in age categories receive prizes. The race, bearing the Solidarity name, serves as a nod to the NSZZ Solidarność movement.
