The Baranowski Tour Wałbrzych is a multi-day cycling event held in June in Wałbrzych, focusing on amateur mountain racing in the Sudetes. Participants compete in the Wałbrzych Mountains and on routes surrounding the city, with courses designed for various skill levels, not exclusively for experienced racers. The honorary start takes place at Aqua Zdrój, and all distances conclude at Schronisko PTTK Andrzejówka, finishing high in the hills.
The final 10-kilometer asphalt climb to Andrzejówka serves as the course’s defining challenge, contributing to the event's reputation as one of Poland’s most demanding amateur cycling races. The weekend also features a recreational ride, children’s races, a family ride, and a Saturday evening street criterium, accommodating club riders, ambitious amateurs, families, and children. The event is named after Dariusz Baranowski, a cyclist from Wałbrzych who won the Tour de Pologne, competed in the Olympics, and had a lengthy professional career.
