The Półmaraton Lechitów runs from Ostrów Lednicki, near Dziekanowice, to Plac Św. Wojciecha in Gniezno, covering the standard 21.097 km half-marathon distance. This asphalt road race follows a PZLA-certified course. Timing chips are integrated into the bibs, and the course has a time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Participation is limited to 2,000 individuals, and all runners must be at least 18 years old.
The event is included in both the Crown of Polish Half Marathons and the Wielkopolska Half Marathon Grand Prix. Consequently, it attracts runners pursuing major Polish half marathon completions, alongside local and club participants. The race also hosts the Polish Doctors' Half Marathon Championship. Rankings are determined by net time for all participants, with the exception of the first 50 finishers, who are ranked by their order of finish. The entry fee includes the bib, chip, safety pins, a finisher medal, and a recovery meal. A commemorative shirt can be purchased separately.
