Bieg Pamięci Bitwy pod Mokrą is a 10 km street race held in Mokra, a village within the Miedźno commune in Silesia. The main race begins at the school and preschool located at Mokra 194. The 10 km event starts in the morning. The day's program also features children’s races and a special “998” firefighter race, catering to local runners, uniformed services, and families.
The race commemorates the Battle of Mokra, an early engagement of the Second World War. In this vicinity, soldiers of the Wołyńska Cavalry Brigade resisted the German 4th Armored Division. The event encourages runners to honor that sacrifice through their own physical exertion. Gmina Miedźno and Jest Lepiej are the organizers, and the series retains a local character, distinct from large commercial road events.
