The Bison MTB 16 Family is a short family mountain-bike race in Supraśl, beginning and ending at Polana Krasny Las in October. It is designed for young riders aged 8 to 14, with each child accompanied by an adult guardian. The focus is on sharing a genuine MTB course together, rather than children riding independently.
The route covers approximately 17 km with around 133 meters of elevation gain, offering a manageable challenge that still requires strategic pacing. Participants will find a refreshment station at the 10 km mark in Las Cieliczański. The time limit for completion is 2 hours and 5 minutes, with a 1-hour cut-off at the 10 km checkpoint. Helmets are compulsory. Both the rider's transponder number and the guardian's number are issued by the race office, and the guardian must have a working mobile phone. Organisers suggest bringing water, a rain jacket, insurance, and a GPS device with the route loaded. This indicates the event is family-oriented yet conducted as a serious off-road race. The Bison MTB organisers also connect the series to charitable efforts, supporting Hospicjum Proroka Eliasza and the “Your 1.5% has power!” campaign.
