Honorowy Bieg Kadecki starts and finishes on the AMZ S.A. testing ground on Metalowa Street in Kutno, in Poland's Łódzkie region. It is a short military-style cross-country obstacle race: about 5.5 km on an unpaved route, with 19 numbered obstacles mixing built structures and natural terrain. Runners must be at least 16 for the main race, and the field is kept small, with a limit of 195 starters and a 90-minute cutoff.
The race links sport with local military and patriotic tradition. It is organized by I LO Płockiego Uniwersytetu Ludowego with partners including AMZ-Kutno S.A., Akademia Mazowiecka in Płock, and Płocki Uniwersytet Ludowy, and it is connected with the Święto Pułkowe 37pp celebration. Local uniformed schools and military units often work with the event, but the start list is not just for cadets: children and juniors have their own routes, while the main field can include newer runners, club runners, and experienced marathoners.
