Luk-Connect Triathlon Szemud

The LUK-Connect Triathlon Szemud begins in Kamień, within the Szemud commune, the location of this triathlon's origin. It marks the start of the local racing season and is the first event in the STONE TRI TOUR, allowing athletes to immediately begin accumulating points for the tour's overall standings. The available distances are MEGA (1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run), SPRINT (750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run), and AQUABIKE (MEGA swim and bike distances, omitting the run). The event is in its fifth consecutive year and maintains a functional, competitor-oriented schedule: bike check-in occurs in the morning, SPRINT and longer races start separately, and an afternoon ceremony presents awards for MEGA, SPRINT, and AQUABIKE. Relay teams are welcome, facilitating participation for mixed-ability groups. Children's races and aquathlons extend the day's activities for families, and the adult competition caters to both athletes aiming for specific results and those prioritizing established routes and efficient event management.
