Madventure Race is a Polish obstacle-race series organized by Wspólnie dla Sportu, an association based in Gliwice. It focuses on short, obstacle-intensive races instead of long-distance running. The primary ELITE and OPEN categories cover 6 km with approximately 30 obstacles, suitable for participants aged 16 and above. The organizer reserves the right to relocate an event within a 50 km radius of the designated town for that edition, meaning the precise venue is not fixed. Registration is completed online with a starting fee, and chip timing is employed for rankings.
The course incorporates both natural and man-made obstacles, assessing fundamental fitness, jumping ability, strength, and resilience under pressure. The series accommodates various age groups and skill levels: JUNIOR participants, aged 12-15, compete in a 3 km race with around 15 obstacles, while KIDS aged 4-11 navigate a 700 m course featuring about 10 obstacles. The MADVENTURE GAME format increases the challenge by having participants complete up to four 6 km loops. A comprehensive list of obstacles and their clearing rules is released prior to the event. The regulations explicitly caution about the potential for injury inherent in this type of race.
