The Ogólnopolski Bieg im. Jacka Kozioła is a 10 km road race held annually in Radomyśl Wielki, south-eastern Poland. The main 10 km race begins and ends at the Sports Stadium on Przemysłowa Street. It takes place in June, with children’s races held earlier in the morning and the main field starting at 11:00. This community event attracts runners from all over Poland, not just the local area, and is described by organizers as a cult event.
The course is designed for consistent pacing: it is fast, flat, marked each kilometer, and consists of approximately 50% asphalt and 50% hard-surfaced roads. Participants have a 90-minute time limit and use electronic timing. The race honors Jacek Kozioł, a sports and social activist who directed TKKF “Szarotka” in Radomyśl Wielki. Kępa Sport and the local Cultural and Library Center are the organizers, with volunteer fire brigades assisting, ensuring the event feels deeply connected to the town.
