The Prószkowski Bieg Uliczny im. Piotra Blachucika begins and ends at the Municipal Stadium on Sportowa Street in Prószków, Opole Voivodeship. The primary event is a 10 km road race, typically in September, limited to 150 participants. It takes place on closed streets, giving it the feel of a local sports day rather than a large urban event. Before the adult 10 km, children and teenagers compete in shorter races on the stadium grounds, with distances ranging from 100 m to 800 m.
The 10 km route consists of two large loops on a mixed surface, covering Powstańców Śląskich, Partyzancka, Ogrodowa, and Sportowa streets. Participants have 1 hour and 50 minutes to complete the course. The race commemorates Piotr Blachucik, who was a physical education teacher for 25 years, founded the Sprinter Prószków inter-school sports club, and later served as its president and coach. His contributions to modernizing the Municipal Stadium mean the stadium start and finish hold significance beyond mere convenience.
