Bieg na 1 Milę
Bieg na 1 Milę is a 1,609-meter road race in Rzeszów, the Polish version of the classic mile distance. The start and finish are near C.H. Millenium Hall, and the event is an open race for a small field, with a participant limit of 150. Runners must be at least 14, and younger entrants require parental consent. The appeal is the distance: longer than a sprint, much shorter than a 5K, and close enough to track tradition that pacing matters from the first steps. Stowarzyszenie Rzeszów Biega organizes it with the City of Rzeszów and Pratt&Whitney as partners. The race promotes running in Rzeszów and the Podkarpacie region, and every finisher in the main race receives a commemorative medal.
