The Steelworker Obstacle Run takes participants across the grounds of the ArcelorMittal Warszawa Steelworks, making the location integral to the event. This autumn obstacle race features an adult course of approximately 12 km, alongside children’s races ranging from 600 to 1,600 meters, divided into four age categories. Starts are staggered in waves, with an ELITE wave available, and electronic timing is employed for competitive results.
The adult course combines off-road segments with obstacles constructed by the organizers, such as barbed wire, mud pits, high walls, and tire challenges. Certain obstacles are themed around steelworkers' tasks, aligning with the industrial environment and the race's "forget clean shoes" ethos. The participant list includes adults, children, and families, with capacity for up to 300 adults and 200 children. All finishers are awarded medals, and individual and team winners receive cups and prizes.
