ALUT - Algarviana Ultra Trail is a November ultramarathon in Portugal's Algarve, linking Sagres and Alcoutim across a single trail route. The race is approximately 303 to 308 km long, with about 7,000 m of climbing, and runners can enter solo or as part of a relay team.
The route follows the GR13 and uses old paths tied to the Caminhos de Sao Vicente and Caminhos Omiadas, so the race is about crossing the Algarve's interior from end to end. Aid stations provide food, drink, assistance, and rescue cover, while some support bases add nursing and massage services; finishers receive a race prize, and the event includes practical transfers between Faro, Sagres, and Alcoutim when requested at registration.
