The Bragança Granfondo is an amateur road cycling race held in Bragança, northeastern Portugal, beginning and ending in the city. Participants select one of three distances: the 125 km Granfondo, the 90 km Mediofondo, or the 60 km Minifondo. The event commences in the morning, employs electronic timing, and operates under Portuguese Cycling Federation regulations and the Road Traffic Code.
The route crosses open roads, presenting participants with a demanding course while sharing the road with traffic. Registration is limited to 1,500 cyclists across all distances, with a minimum age of 15. Younger participants in the cadet category are restricted to the shortest distance, and the full Granfondo is exclusively for individuals aged 19 and above. The event provides mechanical support, medical assistance, and refreshment stations offering both liquids and solids at designated points. Prizes are awarded to the overall male and female Granfondo victors, age-group podium finishers across all distances, and teams competing in the Granfondo.
