Corrida Azeite Porca de Murça

The Corrida Azeite Porca de Murça is a race and walk event held in the Urban Park of Murça, Vila Real, Portugal, during March. It includes a 10 km race for adults, a 5 km walk open to all ages, and a Kids Race for children up to 12 years old. The routes traverse Murça’s main streets, passing through the historic center and by local monuments, allowing participants to view the town. The 10 km race features a drink station at the midpoint and refreshments at the finish line, with the walk also concluding with refreshments. Awards are given not only to the fastest runners but also for the largest team, the best local athlete, and the oldest participant.
