Esposende Marginal a Noite 2026

Esposende Marginal a Noite is an 8 km night race and walk taking place in Esposende's streets, beginning at 9:30 PM. The event draws a large crowd for a brief city run after dark, where reflective shirts make the moving participants part of the visual display. It is organized with the Esposende Municipal Chamber, and IAT Imobiliária is the main sponsor. The evening commences with a rhythmic warm-up before runners and walkers depart together. Approximately 1,750 individuals participated in the seventh edition, indicating its design for both mass participation and front-of-the-pack racing. The competitive portion is brief: the leading men complete the course in under 23 minutes, and the leading women finish in under 27 minutes. Music by Bruno Soares Sax accompanies the event, and Olympic champion Fernanda Ribeiro has attended the start and prize ceremony.
