Figueira Ultra Trail

Figueira Ultra Trail is a trail running series starting from Buarcos and Figueira da Foz on Portugal’s Atlantic coast. The series offers four distances: a 12 km Mini Trail and Walk, an 18 km Trail Sprint, a 31 km Long Trail, and a 47 km Ultra Trail. The 47 km Ultra Trail is part of the National Ultra Trail Championship and is open to athletes meeting Portuguese Athletics Federation requirements. The routes traverse the north and west slopes of the Serra da Boa Viagem, utilizing dirt roads, single-track trails, agricultural paths, and short sections of asphalt. Electronic timing and time controls provide a formal race structure. Awards are presented for age-group results and team classifications, in addition to the overall finishes.
