Resistência BTT Alcanena 2026

Resistência BTT Alcanena is a Saturday evening mountain bike endurance race held in Alcanena, within Portugal’s Santarém district. Participants can select either a 2-hour sprint-style race or a 3-hour marathon-style race. Both groups commence together from Praça 8 de Maio, also known as Praça do Município. The race follows a lap format; once a rider’s time limit expires, they are unable to start another lap. The course combines urban riding with off-road segments, leading participants through Alcanena’s historic center and surrounding areas. They will navigate squares, streets, cobblestones, and dirt trails. The event is open to BTT riders aged 12 and above, with categories accommodating E-Bikes and Gravel bikes. Organized by the Núcleo de Cicloturismo de Alcanena and supported by the municipality, the race provides practical amenities for participants: liquid refreshments, a buffet dinner, age and gender-based prizes, and a post-race bike-washing area.
