RUNSET ALCOBAÇA 2026

RUNSET Alcobaça is an urban trail event held in Alcobaça, Portugal, incorporating the city into the race. The primary run covers approximately 12 to 13 km, complemented by an 8 km Mini Race/Walk, a Kids Race, and a senior event. This event is jointly organized by Associação MakeMove and the Municipality of Alcobaça. The main and Mini Race are open to individuals aged 16 and older, with the Kids Race divided by age groups. The course combines trail segments with streets and public areas, presenting runners with stairs, short ascents and descents, and architectural features instead of a straightforward road circuit. It navigates past local points of interest such as the Wine Museum, the Volunteer Firefighters Museum, City Hall, the Garden of Love, Alcobaça Castle, and the Monastery of Alcobaça. The Mini Race/Walk, Kids Race, and senior event are non-competitive, broadening the day's appeal beyond the main race; the program accommodates runners, walkers, children, and older participants.
