Semi-Marathon de Montepio Cascais 2027

The Montepio Cascais Half Marathon takes place in Cascais Bay, on Portugal’s Lisbon coast, during a road-running weekend typically scheduled for early February. The primary event is a 21.1 km half marathon, complemented by 10 km, 5 km, and children’s races. This variety caters to club runners, novice participants, families, and individuals seeking a shorter urban race along the waterfront. The half marathon, 10 km, and 5 km courses are single-loop routes through Cascais, featuring both city streets and seafront segments instead of a point-to-point design. HMS Sports, in collaboration with local partners, manages the race, which holds a World Athletics Label. A recent edition saw 12,500 athletes participate in Cascais Bay, providing a substantial mass-race atmosphere without overcomplicating the event structure.
