Trail Fisgas de Ermelo 2027

Trail Fisgas de Ermelo takes place in April on the Serra do Alvão trails in northern Portugal. Races begin in the village of Ermelo and conclude in Mondim de Basto. The main Trail Longo covers approximately 33 km with 1,750 m of elevation gain. The event also features a competitive 23 km Trail Curto, a 7 km Fisgas Uphill race, a non-competitive walk, and a children's event. The long course crosses historic villages within the Serra do Alvão before ascending Alto da Senhora da Graça, reaching an elevation of 947 m. The shorter trail goes through Fisgas de Ermelo, Vila Chã, and Vilar de Ferreiros, then ascends part of Senhora da Graça before descending towards Mondim de Basto. Participants will encounter challenging mountain terrain. Organizers may alter routes if necessary for safety. ExpoFisgas, a sports equipment exhibition, accompanies the races.
