Trail Mãos do Zêzere

The Trail Mãos do Zêzere begins in Pederneira, within the Serra de Tomar in Portugal’s Tomar municipality. This event features a 22 km trail race, a 13 km minitrail, and a non-competitive walk. The races are for adults, and the walk is open to minors accompanied by an adult. The courses follow natural trails connecting Serra d’Aire and Serra da Lousã, offering views of the Castelo do Bode Dam reservoir. The 22 km race involves approximately 1000 m of elevation gain, and the 13 km minitrail has about 350 m of climbing, highlighting the terrain as of the challenge. Now in its second edition, the event is organized by Junta de Freguesia da Serra and Clube de Trilhos Mãos do Zêzere, promoting responsible trail use.
