Trilho da Água

Trilho da Água begins and ends at Parque Urbano das Nogueiras in São Pedro do Sul, Portugal, with all distances starting from this park. This mid-summer trail event offers three options: a 19 km Trail Sprint, a 12 km Mini-Trail/Caminhada, and a Kids Run. The 19 km race is part of the Viseu District Trail Running Circuit, providing a competitive target for serious runners while accommodating walkers, families, and those seeking a shorter route. The name reflects the course, as the routes trace the Vouga, Sul, and Troço rivers, along with the Ribamá stream. Participants will encounter riverside paths, forest sections, technical trail, and areas where water is an integral part of the challenge. GTT.SPS Grupo Todo Terreno de São Pedro do Sul organizes the event, which has developed over several editions, maintaining its start and finish at the same central park. The participant list includes both team runners and individual athletes, creating a diverse field of club competitors, local trail runners, casual participants, and children in the kids race.
