Ultra Trail Vila de Mouros

Ultra Trail Vila de Mouros is a mountain trail running event based in Covilhã, Portugal, in the Serra da Estrela range. The main race is a technical 45 km ultra, with shorter options alongside it: a 30 km trail, a 16-17 km sprint, a 12 km youth trail, a kids race, and a 9 km walk. The routes use natural trails and high-altitude sections around the highest part of mainland Portugal, so this is more about climbing, footing, and mountain conditions than flat speed. The field includes individual runners and many local or regional teams, with categories by gender and age, plus unranked entries for some participants; walkers and children are also part of the same race weekend.
