Viseu OCR Police 2026

At Parque Urbano Radial de Santiago in Viseu, the Viseu OCR Police is a short obstacle course race built around mud, water, and fast laps. The main course is 5 km with approximately 30 obstacles, mixing natural features with installed challenges that test strength, endurance, balance, coordination, and grip. The event runs in July and splits runners into two formats: ELITE for timed racing and FUN for those who prefer the course with friends or family over a result sheet. ELITE is an individual competition for athletes aged 16 and over, with official timing, podium prizes, age-group trophies, and a cut-off around 50 minutes; the field is capped at about 120 athletes. FUN is larger, capped around 800 participants, with waves of 40 starting every 10 minutes, no official timing, and a cut-off around 1 hour 30 minutes. The Viseu race also serves as the final stage of the national OCR TRICHALLENGE circuit, allowing competitive runners to score points toward the national championship. All participants receive a finisher medal, teams can win trophies, and the day concludes at the race site with a Sunset Party.
