Bohusläns Bästa 2026

Bohusläns Bästa is a 22 km trail race on Sweden’s west coast, running from Havstenssund to TanumStrand. It follows the Bohuslän coast past cliffs, bridges, red boathouses, small fishing villages, and shorelines where the smell of seaweed is part of the day. The route uses winding trails with open views and puts the sea at the center of the race, while the wider Trails of SWE setup links it with mountains, forests, and other Swedish landscapes. Bohusläns Bästa is also the final race of the Outnorth Trailtour, so Swedish trail running elites are expected, the overall contests are settled there, and prize money is handed out at the finish event. TanumStrand Spa & Resort provides the practical weekend base, with accommodation and a banquet available for runners who stay after the race.
