Fire Night Run

Fire Night Run is an October night race in Skultuna, Västerås, starting and finishing at Skultuna Mässingsbruk. Participants can select from 10 km, 5 km, or a Mini race. This offers options for adults seeking a longer run and for younger or less experienced runners preferring a shorter distance. Surahammars SOK and Västerås SOK organize the event in cooperation with Jogg. The route enters dark forest, illuminated by the moon, stars, fires, and numerous headlamps. The course incorporates light installations and small surprises, creating a deep forest atmosphere instead of a typical road race. Teams of five can register, combining different distances and categories. Team entries can also include food, positioning the event as a social autumn gathering as well as a competition.
