Fjällmaraton Bydalsfjällen is a mountain trail race in Bydalen, Jämtland County, Sweden, typically held in mid-August. Participants select between 22 km and 50 km distances, positioning it as a trail running event. The 22 km race involves approximately 1,150 metres of elevation gain, and the 50 km route gains about 2,900 metres, making both distances more demanding than their lengths indicate.
The course crosses steep terrain in the Bydalsfjällen mountains, offering expansive mountain vistas as a reward for the ascents. It is designated as a UTMB Index race, appealing to trail runners focused on qualification metrics. In recent years, the 22 km race attracted over 300 participants, while the 50 km had more than 200, indicating the event provides both a substantial long-distance option and a well-attended shorter race.
