Fredsloppet Falun 2026

Fredsloppet Falun is a small charity run organized by Tisken, a lake in central Falun, Sweden. Held in September, it offers runners several distances: a children's race, 1.5 km, 3 km, 6 km, and 9 km. The adult registration fee is 225 kronor, children under 17 pay 75 kronor, and groups of six or more receive a discount, with no requirement to select the same distance. The longer courses involve laps around Tisken: 3 km is one lap, 6 km is two laps, and 9 km is three laps. The event is entirely non-profit; all surplus funds and donations are directed annually to organizations opposing war and oppression. Recent recipients include Palestinagrupperna Sverige, with a portion of the surplus also funding the Swedish-Cuban Association's activities in Cuba.
