Påskrundan 2026 2027

Påskrundan begins and ends at the Vänersborg ski lodge, organized by Vänersborgs AIK over the Easter weekend. The primary event is a cross-country run of approximately 7 kilometers, welcoming competitive athletes and those seeking a robust local competition. The event attracts a broad spectrum of ages, facilitated by separate children's and youth races, along with a shorter 5k-plus recreational option. The primary route follows gravel roads and trails, starting with a more accessible section before becoming steeper and more demanding in the later kilometers. The children's race covers 1.2 kilometers and includes an Easter egg hunt along the path, concluding with sweets at the finish line. The event includes spectators, awards for top finishers in each category, and prize draws for all participants. Any net proceeds are donated to the Children's Cancer Foundation.
