Vårgårda GP 2026

Vårgårda GP is a women's road cycling race held in Vårgårda, Sweden, part of the UCI Women's WorldTour. The event features both a road race and a team time trial, meaning two distinct races occur over the weekend. The road race takes place in August, covering approximately 145 km in its longer version, while the team time trial spans 36 km. In the time trial, teams depart at three-minute intervals, with the highest-ranked team starting last. The road race incorporates gravel sections alongside its distance. One iteration of the course features eight gravel road sectors: five longer, more undulating sectors early on, followed by a challenging finishing circuit with repeated gravel late in the race. The Landa sector, 3 km in length, is tackled three times within this final loop, adding a distinct character compared to a standard flat road race. WorldTour teams compete, and the race has been held for at least fourteen editions, with live Eurosport coverage reaching audiences beyond Sweden.
