Beh Vyšnou Myšľou 2026

Beh Vyšnou Myšľou is a local road race held at the football field in Vyšná Myšľa, a village near Košice in eastern Slovakia. The main adult race covers 6 km on asphalt, with a 5 km alternative. Children’s races range from 50 metres. Starts are in the afternoon: children run first at 14:00, adults at 16:00. The event is organized by the village running club, BKO Vyšná Myšľa, and the municipality. It has reached at least its nineteenth edition. The race is designed for a broad local field, not just one type of runner. Men’s categories range from 18-39 up to over 70. Women’s categories are from 18-39 to 60 and over. Teams can enter relays, such as 2 x 3 km or 3 x 2.3 km. Entry is free for children, local residents, club members, and the oldest adult categories, contributing to the race's strong community feel.
